Ingredients

  • 6 raw Italian sausage links
  • 6 mozzarella string cheese sticks
  • 1 c of marinara sauce

Instructions
 

  1. Using a knife. Or kitchen scissors. Carefully cut along. The length of each sausage. Making sure not to slice. All the way through. You want to create. A pocket deep enough. To hold the cheese.
  2. Insert a mozzarella stick. Into each sausage. Pressing the sausage gently back into shape. To enclose the cheese.
  3. Pour marinara sauce. Into the bottom of a baking dish. Spreading it evenly. With a spoon or spatula.
  4. Place the sausages. Cut side up. In the baking dish. Cover with foil. And bake for 30 minutes. Remove the foil. And continue baking. For another 10 minutes. Or until the sausages. Are fully cooked. And the cheese is melted. And golden. Enjoy!
