Ingredients

  • ½ c butter
  • ½ c heavy whipping cream
  • ½ c brown sugar
  • ½ c granulated sugar
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 2 ¼ c powdered sugar
  • 1 ⅓ c toasted pecans chopped

Instructions
 

  1. Melt butter in a medium saucepan. Then add cream, sugars, salt, and cinnamon. Stir and bring to a boil. Until it reaches 235°F.
  2. Remove from heat. Add vanilla without stirring. And let cool to 105°F for about 30 minutes.
  3. Stir the mixture vigorously until it thickens. Then add powdered sugar. And toasted pecans. Mix until combined.
  4. Spoon onto parchment paper. Shape into a log. And refrigerate for 1-2 hours.
