Ingredients

  • 1 lb cubed beef stew meat
  • 1 c chopped onion
  • 1 c chopped celery
  • 1 c chopped carrots
  • 1/4 c beef bouillon granules
  • 1/4 tsp dried parsley
  • 1 pinch ground black pepper
  • 5 3/4 c water
  • 2 1/2 c frozen egg noodles

Instructions
 

  1. In a saucepan cook the beef stew meat, onion and celery, on high heat until the meat is nicely browned on all sides. This should take around 5 minutes.
  2. Next add the carrots, beef bouillon granules, dried parsley and a pinch of pepper to the pan. Stir everything well.
  3. Now pour in the water. Add the egg noodles to the saucepan. Give it another stir.
  4. Bring the mixture to a boil. Then reduce the heat to low. Let the soup simmer, for 30 minutes or until the vegetables are tender and the beef is fully cooked.
  5. Once it's cooked through scoop out portions of soup into bowls making sure each serving has a balance of meat, vegetables and noodles. Serve it hot. Enjoy your delicious homemade Beef Noodle Soup!
