Instructions
Prepare the Squash
Peel the butternut squash, remove the seeds, and cut into evenly sized cubes, approximately ½ to 1 inch each, to ensure uniform cooking.
Preheat the Air Fryer
Set the air fryer to 375°F (190°C) and allow it to preheat fully before cooking the squash.
Season the Squash
In a large mixing bowl, combine the olive oil, garlic powder, sweet paprika, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Add the squash cubes and toss thoroughly until all pieces are evenly coated.
Air Fry the Squash
Arrange the seasoned squash cubes in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Some light overlapping is acceptable, but avoid overcrowding. Cook in batches if necessary.
Cook and Shake
Cook the squash for 15–20 minutes, shaking the basket every 3–4 minutes to ensure even browning. Continue until the cubes are golden brown and tender when pierced with a fork.
Serve
Transfer the cooked squash to a serving dish and serve hot as a side to your preferred main course.
