1 package (9 ounces) oyster crackers

2 sticks (1 c) butter

1 c brown sugar

2 tsp vanilla extract

Β½ tsp cinnamon

1 tsp salt


Instructions

In a saucepan melt butter. Add sugar, vanilla and cinnamon. Stir until everything is dissolved. Bring it to a boil. Let it cook for 2 to 3 minutes until the mixture thickens.

Pour the caramel over the crackers ensuring they are coated evenly. Sprinkle a bit of salt on top.

Place the baking sheet in the oven for 7 to 9 minutes. Keep an eye on them to prevent any burning.
