10 oz cooked, shredded chicken breast (about 2 c)

4 oz cream cheese, softened

1 tbsp salted butter, softened

1/2 tbsp dried chives

1/2 tbsp dried minced onion

Salt and pepper, to taste

1 can (8 oz) refrigerated Pillsbury crescent roll dough

1/4 c salted butter, melted

1/2 c Italian breadcrumbs

GRAVY:

1 can (10 oz) cream of chicken soup

1 packet (1 oz) chicken gravy mix

3/4 c water


Instructions

Preheat the oven to 350°F and grease a baking sheet.

Prepare the Filling: Blend cream cheese and 1 tablespoon of butter until smooth. Mix in the chicken chives, onion, salt and pepper.

Get the Dough Ready: Unroll the crescent dough. Press two triangles together to form a rectangle. Repeat this process. To create four rectangles.

Distribute the chicken mixture evenly among the rectangles. Place it in the center. Fold the dough around the filling. And seal it shut. Shape them into balls.

Dip each pillow into melted butter first. Then coat with breadcrumbs. Arrange them on a baking sheet.

Bake for 22 to 25 minutes. Until they turn brown.
