1 c orzo pasta, uncooked

2 c of chicken broth

1 c of heavy cream

1/2 c parmesan cheese, freshly grated

2 c fresh baby spinach, tightly packed

Salt and freshly ground black pepper, adjusted to your preference


Instructions

Start by adding the sausage. To a large soup pot or Dutch oven. And cook over medium-high heat. For about 5 minutes.

Next, mix in the chopped onions. And continue cooking for another 5 minutes. Or until the sausage is browned. And the onions are tender.

Add the minced garlic, crushed red pepper flakes, and orzo. Stirring for about 30 seconds.
