1/2 c panko bread crumbs

1/2 c flour

1 egg, beaten

Canola oil, for frying

Salt & pepper, to taste

Heat oil in a Dutch oven to 325-350Β°F.

Prepare three plates: one with flour, one with beaten egg, and one with breadcrumbs.

Coat olives in flour, dip in egg, then roll in breadcrumbs.

Fry in batches until golden.

Drain on paper towels.
