1 lb. ground beef

1/2 c diced onion

1/4 tsp salt

1/4 tsp pepper

11 oz tube refrigerated French bread dough

1/3 c ketchup

3 tbsp mustard

6 slices cooked and crumbled bacon or store-bought bacon pieces

2 dill pickle spears, chopped

8 slices American cheese

1 large egg, beaten

1 tbsp sesame seeds

Thousand Island dressing for dipping


Instructions

Preheat your oven to 350Β°F. Prepare a baking sheet with parchment paper or cooking spray.

Cook the ground beef and diced onion in a skillet until browned. Season with salt and pepper. And drain any grease.

Roll out the French bread dough on a floured surface into a 12×18-inch rectangle.

Spread ketchup and mustard over the dough. Leaving a small border.
