1 cup all-purpose flour

1/2 cup fine breadcrumbs (like panko)

2 cups jalapeño slices

1 tsp salt

1/2 tsp pepper

1 cup buttermilk

2 large eggs


Instructions

Start by combining flour, breadcrumbs, salt and pepper in a bowl. Set this mixture aside for now.

In another bowl mix together buttermilk and eggs.

Take the jalapeños. Slice them into rings.

Coat the jalapeño slices, in the flour mixture then dip them into the buttermilk egg mixture and finally coat them again with the flour mixture (dredging).

Heat some oil in a fryer or deep pan.

Fry the jalapeños until they turn golden and crispy.

Place them on paper towels to drain off any oil.
