1/2 c milk

1 pound cooked chicken, shredded

2 c corn flakes, crushed

4 tbsp butter, melted

Instructions

Preheat Oven: Start by preheating your oven to 350Β°F (175Β°C). To get it ready for baking.

Mix Wet Ingredients: In a large bowl, combine 1 tsp salt, 1 tsp pepper, 2 c sour cream, a 10.5 oz can of cream of chicken soup, and 1/2 c milk. Stir until everything is well mixed. And creamy.

Add Chicken, Cheese, and Hashbrowns: To the mixture, add 1 pound of shredded cooked chicken, 2 c shredded cheddar cheese, and the 20 oz bag of frozen hashbrowns. Stir well to ensure all ingredients are evenly coated. With the creamy mixture.

Prepare Baking Dish: Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking pan with cooking spray. Or a little bit of oil. To prevent sticking. Spread the hashbrown mixture evenly in the prepared baking dish.

Make Topping: In a small mixing bowl, combine 2 c crushed cornflakes with 4 tbsp melted butter. Stir until the cornflakes are fully coated with butter.

Add Topping: Sprinkle the buttery cornflake mixture evenly over the top of the hashbrown mixture in the baking dish. This will create a deliciously crispy topping.

Bake: Place the baking dish in the preheated oven. And bake for about 1 hour. The casserole is done when the top is golden brown. And the filling is bubbly. And hot throughout.

Cool and Serve: Once baked, let the casserole cool. For about 5 minutes before serving. This helps it set. And makes it easier to cut. And serve. Enjoy the creamy, cheesy, and crispy goodness!
