Ingredients

Scale

1 8-oz can of Pillsbury Crescent Rolls or dough sheet

1 1/2 c shredded cheddar cheese (1/2 c reserved)

6 slices bacon, cooked crisp and diced/crumbled

1 c shredded cooked chicken, like from a rotisserie

2 tbsp ranch mix (1 packet)

1/2 tsp garlic powder

6 oz cream cheese, softened

Fresh minced parsley (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

Preheat and Prepare: Set your oven to 350Β°F and line a baking sheet with foil.

Make the Filling: In a medium bowl, mix the softened cream cheese, ranch seasoning, 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese, bacon bits, shredded chicken, and garlic powder until well combined.

Prepare the Dough: Roll out the crescent roll dough on a flat surface, gently pressing the seams together to form a single sheet.

Spread and Roll: Spread the chicken mixture evenly over the dough, leaving a small border around the edges. Carefully roll the dough lengthwise into a log shape, wrap it tightly with plastic wrap, and refrigerate for about 30 minutes to firm up.

Slice and Bake: Remove the log from the fridge and spray the foil-lined baking sheet with nonstick spray. Using a sharp serrated knife, slice the log into 1-inch pieces and place them on the baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart. Sprinkle the reserved 1/2 cup of shredded cheddar cheese and additional bacon bits on top if desired.

Bake to Perfection: Bake in the preheated oven for 15-18 minutes, or until the pinwheels are golden brown. Allow them to cool slightly before serving, and garnish with fresh parsley if you like.
